About Grapevine Tip Line
Who we are
Grapevine Tip Line is run by a small group of researchers working to hold politicians accountable in the digital age. Campaigns have oppo files. Newsrooms have archives. Neither has the secrets you personally know.
So we're building that from the ground up. We source tips from the people who know these politicians best: the ones who worked for them, dated them, sued them, lived next door to them, or just watched them up close for years.
People like you.
What we do with your tip
We read everything. Every tip goes to a person, not a bot.
Not everything gets published. Some tips are dead ends. Some we can't corroborate. Some are true and still don't clear the bar. We'd rather run one story we can stand behind than ten we can't.
Some we chase. If a tip has legs, we go after records, filings, and other sources — and we may come back to you for detail or documentation. You're never obligated to answer.
We don't publish your name. We won't identify you or share your information without your permission.
